I was set to get started on the yard work this morning. I even had Ash and Sammy in the house getting their bite to eat. However, I then noticed that it was a foggy morning, and when I quickly stepped outside, I learned that the grass is indeed very wet. It would take hours for it to dry. So, I let the cats go back out, and I guess I will have to start this afternoon. ... ... Whew, I am a little tempted to crack open a third coke. I mowed the back, and then took the weed-eater to it. It feels good to get that much yard work behind me. I still have to do the front. I almost put it off, because I received Ullrich's "Hitler", and I would have been very happy to spend my day on it. My intent, by the way, was to take the book in as my evening reading, but I think I will give it all of the next few days - morning, afternoon, and evening - in order to give it a good start. And I think I am going to resume it now. This vice-presidential debate is not the draw that the Hillary-Trump debate was. Only Ana Marie is tweeting it, and she is mostly talking about how Pence looks like he is smelling a fart or else trying to hold a fart in. She is not at her best this evening. In all fairness, though, there is not a lot to say. Pence and Kaine are holding their own, neither gaining or losing ground.
