American Psycho

Patrick Bateman is handsome, well educated, intelligent. He works by day on Wall Street, earning a fortune to complement the one he was born with. His nights he spends in ways we cannot begin to fathom. He is twenty-six years old and living his own American Dream.
-- Blurb
Bo and Monk had to cut short the post-breakfast rounds, as the storm broke and the rain started bulleting down. The skies are rumbling and promising a good full day of this stuff.
Actually, this may be the right atmospherics as I begin my third reading of Bret Easton Ellis's "American Psycho". It is hard to believe that it has been seven years since the last reading of this classic novel. This dark and deliciously quirky book is definitely a landmark in Monk's reading life. Such good nasty fun! A man's man's book.
