Once upon a time... now, in fact. Uhhh, how to start? I want to think of this as a story, like something you might read in a novel, and since stories conventionally have a beginning, a middle, and an end, and since this is ‘page one’, you could call this the beginning. However, since it is a ‘story of the life’, and since this life is 48 years old, almost 50, this is also kind of an ending. At least we are closer to the end than we are to any beginning. Not that anyone has missed much. It hasn’t been that much of a life. I suppose you can say that this is the story of an ending, and that this is the beginning of that.
