Monk was turned off reading the excerpt of "Casino Royale," but the floodgates have been opened nonetheless. The hit-and-run reading is now open to all fun fiction. In addition to "Shooting Elvis," Monk ordered some Koontz as well as a Hard Case Crime book, and these first-read books are in the queue for the hit-and-run reading.
