Breakfast

Again, I got interested in a movie that I was watching over my breakfast and finished it to the end, doing away with a good part of my morning. I recall Nietzsche's thought that it was terrible to waste a morning on reading a book. You should use your clear-eyed morning and fresh brain for writing or anything creative. Well, using your morning to watch a movie is definitely a woeful mistake, even if it is a great movie, which mine wasn't. I won't make this mistake again. In the future, I'll just listen to some music over my breakfast, or maybe listen to my audiobook.

More often than not, I just compose my thoughts when I eat my breakfast now. It's a very brief meal, maybe ten minutes.
