Monk was complaining of the need for rain. Well, we got it tonight. It wasn't a heavy storm, and we got more thunder than rain, but it was an appreciable downfall for this parched semi-desert area.
We also got our power out for moment, taking the computer out. Monk was going to leave it off until tomorrow, but he started suffering Internet withdrawal and here we are.
A lot of inconvenience for fairly little rain...
In the interval, a little desperate for a semblance of diversity in his diet, he recalled an old dish: skinless, boneless chicken breasts baked in barbecue sauce. He does this to chicken regularly for his chicken fried rice, but he forgot that he used to do this barbecue number a long time ago.
