Grocery day. As we were leaving H.E.B., Pop pointed out how they have curbside delivery. I'm not sure what that means, but I said, "I wouldn't mind home delivery." He surprised me when he said they used to have that in Shiner (as depicted in "I Spit on Your Grave", I imagine, the Camille Keaton one). He had a childhood memory. He said, with real feeling, that their dog hated one delivery guy in particular. The dog was fine with everybody else, including other delivery guys, but when this one guy came, the dog always went wild and fierce. I wish I could have the visual on his memory. Of course, it makes me nervous when the old man has these sudden deep childhood memories. In movies and novels it always signifies death.
