Hmm, people seem to be pretty busy on this Friday. From my vantage point there is something particularly fresh and vibrant about this lead into the weekend. It feels like an end of summer thing - the weather so crisp and clear.
One supposes that many are heading off to college. (The nostalgia - to be young and hopeful again!) Others are just preparing to let go!
Don't mind me! I'm just lonely and nothing is happening on my Friends Page, sigh...
We haven't had rain... since I cannot remember. Monk has done some watering, and he watered our one old tree out back with the soaker hose. It needed the drink.
Simple Tree has gotten into an interesting habit. After his meals, he goes out and sits on the patio to listen to his old country & Western CDs. It's a little funny to hear the music that dominated the south in his childhood back in the 40s. As well as a little annoying.
