I still find it odd that I need to recharge my book. Why do e-readers drain so damn fast?

"Is this what they call a 'First World problem'?"

I guess, but it is still annoying.

What kind do you have? I have a Nook Simple Touch, and with the wireless turned off, I can go without charging for a couple weeks of light usage. With the wireless on, the battery drains in a few days.

(And yes, this is a first-world problem, but it's annoying.)

I have a Kindle Fire. Maybe it's the wireless thing. I didn't even think of an option to turn it off. I don't think I have been good for more then four hours of reading. I have to recharge it practically every evening.
