Don't ask me where the impulse came from, but I suddenly felt a strong hankering to hear Garth Brooks's "I've Got Friends In Low Places". When I looked it up on YouTube, my only real source for music, I was taken aback to see that the owners of the song must be zealously vigilant about protecting their rights and profit, because all I could find were karaoke versions and covers, or even versions where they slowed the tune or otherwise distorted it.
Sure, I understand that it is a popular song, but I have never seen this before. Though, I don't often look for music either. I actually have a CD that has a 'live on stage' version, but it doesn't seem worth the trouble of looking for it and then loading it, not just for one song. His other songs don't do much for me.
