I dreamed that I got an Animal Control guy to come over and capture the cats. I think I was indifferent about the fate of Ash and Willy, but when the man was here and I saw Ash and Willy right before me, I had a change of heart. I picked them up and told the guy, "Not these two." He said, "Broken in?" and nodded his understanding.
I carried Ash and Willy into the bathroom to ensure their safety. However, when I later go to retrieve the cats, I was shocked to discover that I didn't have Ash, but had managed to pick up another cat.
Mother was in the dream. I asked if the guy caught any cats, and she said, "He picked up four of them." This wasn't the happy news I thought it would be. The thought flashed through my mind of urging that we go to the pound and save Ash, but I end up keeping it to myself.
I bring Willy and the other cat back outside, and they lounge on the patio table. I see no sign of Ash and go back inside.
