I dreamed a little of mother. Pop came home from work, still dressed in his white uniform and black jacket, and mother and I are doing some yard work. Nothing special. Like a real slice of life.

I recall hearing a long time ago that we dream a lot every night, and it's just a question of how much we remember and what we remember. I imagine that I must dream of mother often, as well as Bo, but the catch is recalling those slips of dream. It's a pleasant thought: to think that they are alive and well in my subconscious somewhere.

about 5 to 6 dreams per night. usely it is the one just before waking that is remembered. sometimes the last two are remembered. on some rare occasions some people can remember up to three or four dreams. but it doesn't happen often.
dreams are about a half hour in length and are about an hour apart. the rest of the night is spent in mundane thought, known as NREM. ever wake up in the morning feeling as if you layed there all night thinking but still feel rested as if you had slept? that was a night spent in NREM sleep.

With all that dreaming, no wonder I wake up feeling tired sometimes! I wish I could remember more of them; they really help to spur reflection.

awww that's so sweet!

sometimes I forget that I ever had a father, isn't that strange?

and then this type of dreaming reality will hit me.
