Shouting Fire in a Crowded Theater

A little more than halfway into "Quantum of Solace", the alarm goes off in the theater with the announcement to leave the building through the nearest exit. Instead of doing that, with most of the crowd I went to the lobby, and as expected, it was a false alarm. I've come to think that we tend to regard these alarms like those car alarms that always go off without the least criminal presence stalking about - more annoyance than anything else. Which may be a safety problem. In any case, this was my second false alarm in a month, recalling the library incident. As I told Pop, "It feels like someone is trying to tell me something." I do feel a little spooked. It's not like I go out that often.

good to hear you're out and about some, though. did you get to see the second half?

The show must go on

Oh, yeah, after about only ten minutes they started rolling the thing again. They could have rewound it a minute or two instead of resuming so abruptly, but I guess this was better than getting a free ticket to see it again some other time. I wasn't really loving the movie that much, and this way I don't have to go out again, heh.
