An Afternoon July Shower

Taking Bo outside, I see that it had rained. It was obviously a little one and slipped past me, but there is no denying that rich, deliciously earthy smell of after-rain.

Actually, that rather takes away from the romance of it all for me, but we are definitely just coming out of a bad dry spell, persumably helping to account for the particularly strong scent today.
