Pimpin' that Chomsky Guy

Thinking about the news that Hugo Chavez jumped up sales of Noam Chomsky's book, after urging people to read it so that they too can presumably smell the sulphur of our president, also known as the Devil, I am wondering if antilapsarian is one of the ones who raced out to buy a copy of Hegemony or Survival: America's Quest for Global Dominance.

I am actually a little tempted, myself. I am a fan of Chomsky's egalitarian writings, though I believe he went off on a wrong track when it comes to the Middle East and the Islamist threat. But maybe it really is better to be stupid than smart.

Yeah, I've been bracing myself, ready to read you appreciating how much more enlightened are the likes of Ahmadinejad and Chavez. Bush has made it easier for them, no doubt about it.

Iran's president, from what I hear, is somewhat of a puppet even though the man himself is more moderate and seems fairly intelligent. He answers to those with the real agenda it sounds like. Shame.

Chavez seems charismatic though I don't enjoy his Leftism so much. I'm more of a libertarian-liberal traditionalist than into the radical left. What can I say, I'm not much of a Cuban Revolutionary myself. lol
