An early morning wank. Since the latest conflict with Jack, I have lost the freedom to wank at will, whenever I want to. It was one of my little benefits in this limbo existence. Now I have to worry about trouble coming at any time. I figure the early morning hours are my best chance to enjoy some quality time with my laptop, since Jack doesn't even get up before noon.

There is also a personal advantage in the early morning wank. It enables me to go into my day fairly pure in thought. Otherwise, I would be chasing prurient fantasies throughout the morning, usually humping my bedding much more than is really decent. This way, I am free from all such urges. Indeed, it would be a little painful on my dick to even try to hump my bedding now. And I am fresh from my shower as well. Clean in body and mind.

When I saw that the temperature had spiked above ninety degrees this afternoon, I eagerly put on the air-conditioner. It didn't really feel like ninety. It's definitely a springtime 90 rather than a July 90. If Arthudo was here, we definitely wouldn't be putting it on. So, we can count this as a little benefit of this limbo existence. Since this entails closing up all the windows and doors, I also enjoy the added security. There is no way anyone is coming in without breaking or smashing something.

Sweetening the afternoon a little more, I am playing Elvis's early songs during my reading breaks ("Lolita" today). Although these aren't my favorite Elvis songs, they are a good accompaniment to the first part of the Audible biography, giving the narrative a kind of third dimension.

Bill Kristol Tweets.

~

Just now:
Cabbie: Hey you're Mr. Kristol.
Me: Yup.
Cabbie: You don't like Trump?
Me: Right.
Cabbie: He's Tony Soprano!
Me: Is that good?
Cabbie: It's great! He's getting it done! [Swivels around while driving, grins, shows me a TRUMP 2020 button]
Me: I'll hop out at this bar...

I took another crack at watching my old home movies, filmed on videotape. We still have one functioning Videocassette Recorder. Remember, I tried to watch these home movies on it before, but it seemed that the cassette cartridge might have been a tad too big for our machine. I didn't force it then, because I did not want to risk losing the tape. However, at this point, it would seem to be now or never. I put my hands to my chest in thankfulness when I was able to start watching them today. These movies are from twenty-five years ago. There is Teri and Arthudo in full strength. Bo and Princess are there, too. I find it striking to think that Arthudo was about at the age that I am at now. Those old Bay Horse days.
