Cats in Autumn

Ash is chasing some of the leaves around on the patio. My heart aches at this sweet remembrance of yesteryear. Coco was especially lovely at chasing leaves with her calico coloring, a rather autumnal coloring. Ash isn't long at her playing. I imagine she was largely doing it out of her own sense of nostalgia, to call back for a moment the time when she was young.

We were expecting another little rainy spell over the weekend, but we only got a shower or two, so that it looks like we are in line to enjoy at least three weeks of dry weather, with the cats free to run outdoors.
