You are not going to believe it. I have taken up Solitaire, again. It may be recalled that it was a short-lived passion back in those early Bay Horse years. Jack and I even got into it together, buying a book that has the rules for the many variations of the little card games for one. I do not know what got me thinking about it today. It's not as though I have been flirting with the idea for any length of time. However, once it did come to mind this afternoon, it quickly snowballed, as I remembered that my laptop has Solitaire on it, just as it does Chess. When I check it out, I was happy to learn that it even has a special option for Spider, that particular game of Solitaire that sounded most promising but which I was unable to master 25 years ago. I gave the game a run, and it helps to have the computer lead the way, so that I am not only getting the hang of it, but I already seem to have fallen into a hopeless addiction.
