Courtney Love Knows How to Blog

Courtney Love is taking off her clothes again. Over the weekend she tweeted several provocative photos of herself without captions or comment. Last month Courtney tweeted a photo of herself wearing nothing but underwear and lounging in the same chair pictured in the new photos.

All-American Sarah Palin

Sarah Palin teases that she might run for president. But she is unqualified - not just in the (let me count the) usual ways, but because she does not know the country. She could not be the president of black America nor of Hispanic America. She knows more about grizzlies than she does about African Americans - and she clearly has more interest in the former than the latter.

Wow, this will bring her down! Apparently, Richie doesn't get it. For the first time in a long time, we are getting back to the point that one can be proud to be white in America, and one doesn't have to be so acutely focused upon the fragile sensibilities of the lesser races. This is a big part of the reason why Sarah and the Tea Party crowds are soaring. The fact that she is not keyed into the interests and concerns of black America and Hispanic America is not really going to hurt her that much. As she might reply, "I know only one America!" And we are left to figure out the nature of her one America.

So, Sarah can safely focus on other problems, with the primary one being from the Republican establishment, who seem to fear her as much as liberal America does, though it may be too late for a sanity wake-up call. They made her and now we may all have to live with the consequences.

LONDON — A British network of more than 40 part-time Islamic schools and clubs with 5,000 students has been teaching from a Saudi Arabian government curriculum that contains anti-Semitic and homophobic views, including a textbook that asks children to list the “reprehensible” qualities of Jews, according to a BBC documentary broadcast on Monday.

The 30-minute “Panorama” program quoted the Saudi government-supplied textbook as saying that Jews “looked like monkeys and pigs,” and that Zionists set out to achieve “world domination.” The program quoted a separate part of the curriculum — for children as young as 6 — saying that someone who is not a believer in Islam at death would be condemned to “hellfire.”

The Saudis say that the material is taken out of context, but we have yet to receive word as to what the appropriate context could be. The British government is onto this, and it seems that they won't bow down to the Islamicists, or so they say. We're still some way from realizing the brotherhood of man. I'm tenpted to say that we may need a new religion, but maybe we have too many already.
