Sarah Palin teases that she might run for president. But she is unqualified - not just in the (let me count the) usual ways, but because she does not know the country. She could not be the president of black America nor of Hispanic America. She knows more about grizzlies than she does about African Americans - and she clearly has more interest in the former than the latter.

Wow, this will bring her down! Apparently, Richie doesn't get it. For the first time in a long time, we are getting back to the point that one can be proud to be white in America, and one doesn't have to be so acutely focused upon the fragile sensibilities of the lesser races. This is a big part of the reason why Sarah and the Tea Party crowds are soaring. The fact that she is not keyed into the interests and concerns of black America and Hispanic America is not really going to hurt her that much. As she might reply, "I know only one America!" And we are left to figure out the nature of her one America.
So, Sarah can safely focus on other problems, with the primary one being from the Republican establishment, who seem to fear her as much as liberal America does, though it may be too late for a sanity wake-up call. They made her and now we may all have to live with the consequences.
