Well, now that I have all three cats inside, I can relax and enjoy the rain. I forgot how it looks like. Rainfall is a beautiful thing to watch, isn't it? So relaxing. Definitely good for reading.
I just hope that we get more than this little pitty-patty drizzly stuff. It's thundering enough for the real thing. Of course, one should be wary about rain in these parts, even amidst drought, because when it does fall, it will often come in floods. Boom and bust. After all these dry months, though, we could use a little booming. Some good wet booming.

Whoa, okay, this is a little scary now. It looks like night again. Pitch black. I cannot recall ever seeing this before. I hope we aren't destined to need international aid in the next few days.
