Father happily exclaims that our phones are back online. Personally, I enjoyed the silence of that ringing for the past couple of days. If I had my own household, I'd definitely do away with phones, and just plug one in when I need to make an emergency call or take care of some business, and then disconnect it again. If I had a social life, people could contanct me through e-mail.
