At the Elvis Presley community, Monk sees this bombshell - a special Elvis movie is going to be shown at theaters around the country in a couple of weeks. It's the '68 Comeback Special.
Although one doesn't know what they will have to show in the way of promised new footage, Monk would've liked to go, if only to see it on the big screen and hear the King on a full-scale sound system. It will be playing reasonably near to him, too, but it apparently only has one special showtime, and it's in the evening, so Monk probably won't go. He winces over this one!
