The Two A.M. Blues
♠
I went to bed immediately after the last rounds, at ten-thirty. I'm just consistently dead tired earlier these days. The season?
The problem with going to bed earlier is that I will wake up in the middle of the night unable to fall back asleep.
Maybe it is the warmish night?
There are a couple of other factors for this midnight restelessness. One, I woke up on the verge of an acid reflux attack. I broke my long-running string of going without a Pepcid AC. No vomit rose to my mouth, but my stomach was roiling bad felt just short of a full rebellion.
Another factor is Bo. I woke up at two, and I was afraid it was too early to take Bo outside. As it turned out, it was too late. Dry, hard turds were waiting for me on my return. At least it was on Moggy's blanket, but I still punished him a little, shutting him out of my room.
And now I cannot sleep. Though, I am feeling insomniac-like tired. I want to sleep very much, but the Land of Nod won't let me back in and its like I lost my passport.
Maybe an hour of blogging will drain the excess energy.
