We are using our green "Organics" bin for the first time. I just went out and ripped up the plastic bags to remove them, pouring out and leaving behind the grass clippings. I was debating for some days what to do about that. It seemed too messy without the plastic bags. However, they positively state that plastics bags are absolutely unacceptable, and it occurred to me that if they wanted the grass clippings to be bagged, they probably would have said something.
