Earth has two moons, a group of scientists argues.
-- MSNBC
Haruki Murakami was just a little ahead of his time. Actually, this supposed second moon is said to be a small asteroid that is temporarily caught in our orbit and is "no bigger than a Smart Car". And I think this conclusion is still controversial and is only hyppothetical. I don't suppose anyone can see it. It's a shame they didn't make passing mention of the literary phenomenon "1Q84". I guess they want to keep it hard news and not play lightly with the story, but it would have been fun. The coincidence is fun for me.
