Restless Cats

When I come out of my early morning blogging rounds,
I see that the cats broke into the big room.

The TV and new couch are still intact
and nothing has been destroyed.

I'm content to see it as a needed diversion.

Then, when I brave the outdoors to get the paper,
I see that it's dry enough,

so I let the cats out for a real rampage.
