I come out from lunch and I see that Coco and Sammy have used the new ball of red yarn that we got for them to produce an artistic yarn-work using the patio as their canvas, as the red yarn wraps around much of the furniture and the trash can as well as using their food dish as a hook to hang one corner of their masterpiece, and they are now napping with mother amidst the yarn zigzagging all about them.
They were obviously very busy cats. Too bad I missed them at work. Well, this is why we feed them - just too precious. Even though I now have to clean that up, since we must use the patio for more pedestrian purposes. Oh, the artist is so poorly understood and appreciated in the practical day-to-day world, as artists strive for beauty when we simply seek utility.
