Personally, I'm having some cold feelings about xenophobic Americans who seem overly concerned with turning their backs on our immigrant past and isolating us from the rest of the world.

If we are as freedom-loving as we claim to be, we'd be welcoming foreigners with an open-door policy rather than the cold shoulder. We cannot, at the same time, fight for others who are oppressed and then oppress others ourselves. It just doesn't work.
