Yes, but on the other hand, Americans don't take well to corrupt politicians and an indictment may not be a guilty verdict, but it still amounts to enough evidence in front of a grand jury that the charges have already "stuck" so to speak. $190,000 is chump change to the DeLay types, but I'd say most Americans would love to screw a politician to the wall over that much...now make that politician underhanded and shady and you've got yourselves a party!
