Life is lived on a slippery slope...

Monk loved that retort to the familiar cautionary argument of the slippery slope. Mr. Will has a striking way of grabbing the jugular of an argument. In this instance, he is even doing so in service of embryonic stem-cell research, discussing Senator Frist's split with the Administration on the issue.
