Oh... almost, very close, very close.

When Monk came back inside and checked on the computer, it took him longer to see if it was just his blurred vision or if the computer was still screwy. After getting real close to the screen and staring hard, he sees that it is still shot.

Although Monk expected the weather to be literally freezing last night, he was still surprised during a bathroom run in the wee hours that it would be a good idea to put on the heater, thinking that the heater is only needed in January and February - as opposed to when it is simply cold. Fortunately, his chilled senses pulled him out of that delusion, and it was the first night that we used the heater.

Monk and Little Bear were entreated to a beautiful hoarfrost - Texas snow.

Remember, the sky is falling. :)

I hope its just the monitor; monitors can be replaced simply if they prove awkward.

I'm further south then you and I've had the heat on many nights already. but then again if it drops below 75 I'm shivering. lol

Perhaps replace your monitor? Mine gets the jitters every once in a while...for some reason.

I think frost is very cool. We haven't had any yet, though, and I'll probably recant once it's cold enough for frost.

You put on a big light in my head with that monitor suggestion. I cannot discriminate enough to know myself if that is it, but if this set-up starts to get more glitchy, and it still appears like it might be just the monitor, we'll definitely check that out first. Though, I have my doubts.

My original notions of Florida were that it would be warmer if anything, on account of the ocean, but if I recall correctly, I think Memo says you actually get some regular snow over there, and that it just doesn't stay long. If that's right, I'm not too suprised that you've had more need for the heater.

That would be a somewhat easier problem, but even if it is, I'm sure we'll content ourselves with just giving a re-boot every morning to get everything going. Even a monitor isn't too cheap for us!

I actually love that white glaze on the grass myself. With the bracing air, all seems so fresh.
