So runs the headline in Monk's San Antonio Express-News on yesterday's death of acting legend Marlon Brando.

Of all his movies that have been getting mentioned, Monk hasn't seen Last Tango in Paris recalled, which surely has to be in that top realm of Brando movies, seriously.

In truth, Monk wasn't a great fan, but he respected Brando's iconic place in American culture. The world Monk has known just seems to be dying away...
