This morning, around my reading, I was thinking about how it's been a real problem finding time to write out in long-hand my old journal entries into my lovely hardcover journal-books. My passion for these old notes has picked up lately, and you would think that this should provide the incentive to put in the bit of labor, but it's not happening.
Then I realized that so long as Arthudo likes to maintain a printer, why not just use the damn thing!? The idea took deep root when I remembered that I already have some batches of print-outs from my journal that I have done over the years as the mood would come and go. They are not written up as prettily as I would like, but the convenience of having the material already printed out makes up for that. It also helped when I discovered that I apparently went through a little phase when I actually printed out my e-mail notifications from my blogging friends. The material is rough, but I love those old icons that show up on the pages. I am only sorry that this was not a long-lasting phase.
