(no subject)
Feb. 4th, 2019 09:46 pmI'm tempted to let the day go blank. It's late, almost ten, and I'm so tired and foggy that's it's all I can do to stand up. As far as my writing life goes, I have already contented myself with only one journal entry per day rather than the promised two.
However, instead of just giving up and shutting down the laptop, I'll blurt a few little things that come to mind.
One. I had quite a bit of dreaming last night, but I couldn't keep much of it when I woke up. One item, Arthudo was selling the house. This wasn't merely a passing fragment, but was hit hard a number of times. At one point, we are out front, and I can see the 'for sale' sign. I have no idea why or where we are moving to. Hell, I had some doubts if I was even included in the move. Kay was a part of some of this dreaming, and this might have been just about him and her.
Two. I got an update about my Marilyn audiobook. Apparently, my package only arrived in Houston this evening. So, I probably won't even get it tomorrow. Wednesday is looking good. Which is fine. I just hope the package isn't damaged.
Three. Christianity has become a bigger part of my reading life. I really enjoyed the first few chapters of Ratzinger's "Jesus" book, and I moved it into the express lane. On top of that, I have put my Oxford Bible on my 'active reading' shelf, albeit on the slow lane. Hey, I have long thought that Christianity is an interesting subject, but just one that you ought to avoid taking too literally or very seriously. At a minimum, Christianity is a fascinating look into culture and the nature of the human mind.
