It hasn't rained today, hooray! On the other hand, we are approaching the freeze-point. Truly. The forecast is not calling for a hard freeze exactly, but it's close enough that I have capped the outdoor faucets.
As for the cats, it's just as well that they are not crying up a storm to be let out. They are not much for near-freezing weather. They wouldn't want to be outside for long anyway.
I have an interesting question regarding that mud patch out back. Does mud dry faster in wintry cold weather, a bit like in steamy summer weather? I guess we'll find out. I am happily wondering if I might let the cats out tomorrow.
