Sugar: "At a certain point, I realized people aren't ignorant of facts. They are choosing their version of reality." ... ... It's ten o'clock already, fuck! With Pop away at Kay's, I had breakfast over Pop's computer in the office to take care of my preliminary Internet business instead of watching fifteen or twenty minutes of news, and time ran away from me. Of course, this also includes some time playing Freecell Solitaire, which is not available on my laptop. ... ... What the fuck!? A river of ants running from my bathroom to Pop's office. I tried to find the source for this invasion, what was driving it, some food dropped on the floor somewhere, but I couldn't find anything. The heavy rains perhaps played a part in this. I ran off to the other rooms and grabbed a couple of ant baits that I got when Victor came over and planted them along the busy trail. However, it was a couple of months ago when I got the baits, and I am not wholly sure they still have their ant-killing magic. I gotta try it, though. I don't want to just kill off a few dozen of these ants to only have the rest scatter off and find new happy trails, if I can help it. ... ... Schopenhauer: "It is really incredible how meaningless and insignificant when seen from without, and how dull and senseless when felt from within, is the course of life of the great majority of men. It is weary longing and worrying, a dreamlike staggering through the four stages of life to death, accompanied by a series of trivial thoughts." [The World as Will and Representation]
