Jul. 14th, 2012 11:56 amAh, our old TV crush Yvonne Strahovski is on the interview circuit for her new gig on Showtime’s “Dexter”. It’s a little exciting to hear some talk about a “Chuck” movie, and as much as I would love that, it’s hard to see how that happens. Even if we are only talking about a TV movie, even before you begin shooting, you are limited to your fan base. I cannot imagine that people who never turned on to the show before will get interested in seeing a movie that spins off from the TV show, and I don’t think Chuck was a mega-hit in the first place. It has more of a cult following.
As much as I would like more story, maybe it is best if we just imagine Sarah and Chuck leading wonderfully normal, private lives as a happily married couple and having children. Oh, hell, I don’t know! Frankly, I wouldn’t mind another whole season, in which we see them doing their wild and dangerous spy thing as a married couple, but maybe that would be like another season four, a complete dump of half-baked ideas and mixed intentions. Maybe it’s best to let it go. I don’t know...
