The man will not be running for re-election in 2012. Who can take his place as a solid liberal leader in the Congress?
One wonders if he just doesn't see the point in remaining in the House as a member of a minority party and for what promises to be a long term. Though, it amazes and frightens me how the Republicans can be strong, seeing how their policies are so narrowly tailored for the top one or two percent. It must be the Jesus and anti-minority vote.
