That sounds like a pretty good job to me!

Hitchens has a new book out, a memoir on being a "public intellectual", a master bullshitter. Since I cannot carry a tune and be the second coming of Elvis, I think it would be pretty cool to make a rich living out of public speaking and writing essays and books of my grand opinions and ideas - the World According to Monk. But, nah, I don't have that kind of intellect and talent and charm to con the world like that. It is all I can do to keep conning the family to support me in my delusions of grandeur as a sort of private intellectual, very private.
