monk222: (Flight)
This is the first time in several weeks that I have been able to give the full waterhose treatment to the kitty litter box. Finally, a dry and sunny day. I also gave the elephant ears a watering, after giving a few minutes to pulling away some of the dead grass. There are flashes of green life stirring in the little plot, which is encouraging since we have such a dead moonscape for our environs, where only the weeds fatten and thrive.

I'm using the same five paper-wadded balls that I was using before Father got our first dart board, and Mother was around then, over ten years ago. It doesn't really click for me now. Not that I was much into the darts. Maybe it's just the sense that here is an opportunity to do something different with the routine, and I'm sort of dreaming big.

My thought had been the childhood habit of using my baseball glove and tennis balls to work on my pitching, but we had a basement then with concrete stairs. I also think of a real basketball set-up, even though that is not even physically possible.

I'll probably keep trying to think of a happy answer until I tire of it, and I will stick to tossing paper balls into the trash can.

I really need to give up on those frozen burritos.
I feel as though I ate a freshly rotting rat,
exept a rat may well have more nutritious content.
Taco Bell should be as low as I go.
