As Dr. Romano remarked, quoting a quip by a friend, “We went from B.C. to B.Z., before Zeus.”
-- John Noble Wilford for The New York Times
Some new archaeological discoveries have uncovered some evidence of the worship of a god that pre-dates Zeus, and they are not talking about Cronus.
Interesting. But without the support of a master poet, such as a Homer, I cannot help but think of it as merely a footnote in history. You need the literature to make it immortal.
