The Sinatra station is running at full-speed now. And it's not all Sinatra like it's all Elvis, but he is perhaps on half the time. There is some Dean Martin, but I've been disappointed, even finding his "Everybody Loves Somebody" number to be less than I remembered, but alright. Michael Buble makes up for it.

Making way for this programming, they seemed to kill the love songs on the other stations, as they now play a sort of more hip and contemporary range, which doesn't work well for me. So, I actually turn to the Sinatra station more when they are mostly talking with fans at the Elvis station, or when I want some patented mellow numbers, those old standards, such as Tony Bennett's "The Shadow of Your Smile".

YouTube took down the Elvis/Celine duet. Copyright. They really want you to buy it at I-tunes, or whatever they call it. I've noticed more of the Elvis movie songs have gone, too.

If they clear out all the Elvis magic, much of my love of YouTube would go with it. You cannot have nudity, so it's not like webcam girls can do anything for us there. I like pets, but I only have so much interest in watching people make videos of their pets.

Baise Moi

I'm watching "Baise Moi", again. I was worried about whether the movie would fit in my rotation, since I often watch the movies while I'm eating and this movie is subtitled, and I cannot read while I'm eating. I shouldn't have worried. It is special enough that you can still enjoy it without catching all the dialogue.

Indeed, they don't even provide subtitles in some scenes. It surprises me that they don't provide a dubbed option. I should think this steamly little flick would be worth the full treatment - careful subtitling and an option for dubbed dialoge. I'm not complaining. I'm blissfully delighted that this movie makes it to America at all and uncut!

The movie may be thought of as being a "Thelma and Lousie" but made for adults instead of the Walt Disney productions that we usually get in this country. I just don't get it. America saves Europe, and we usually only get the kiddie version of movies while Europe gets to enjoy freedom in their movies. I just don't get it. Well, at least we got "Baise Moi" in its full glory, thank god!
