monk222: (Bonobo Thinking)

Apocalyptic visions of climate change used by newspapers, environmental groups and the UK government amount to "climate porn", a think-tank says.

I think I still prefer Juggs magazine and Bang Bus videos.

“My favorite conspiracy theory is the one that says the world is being run by a handful of ultra-rich capitalists, and that our elected governments are mere puppets. I sure hope it’s true. Otherwise my survival depends on hordes of clueless goobers electing competent leaders. That’s about as likely as a dog pissing the Mona Lisa into a snow bank.”

-- Dilbert

I was surfing through Wonkette.com and I discovered that Dilbert has a blog. I do not follow his cartoon, but then I do not even follow Doonesbury anymore and his work his ubiquitous. I cling too much to the blogosphere, which is why I follow Sinfest faithfully.

As for the quote, it is amusing, and he seems to keep an amusing and interesting blog, which means I may actually follow it. Anent the substance, I am with those who hold that democracy is the worst form of government, except for all the rest. But I live for good reading. And good porn.

And just the idea of snow is refreshing at this point.
