That quote is actually from twenty years ago, but it still seems to be the prevailing philosophy, certainly for all the cool Islamists. That link goes to a Mark Steyn column, and it is not political science, but skewered red meat. I am sympathetic to the argument, but if you believe that Israel is over the line, you may as well skip it.
