Cardinal Roger Mahony was roughed up on account of Church sex abuse
Mahony did not report the attack to police ''because he felt he could offer it up in reparation for the sins of others.''
It would be better if he thought of it in terms of his own sins. Even if he did not molest or rape kids, himself, he certainly abetted other priests who did. That arrogance runs deep, all the way into the soul.
